Our Ministries and ProgramsSunday School Sunday School offers the original small group experience. We invite adults and children to join in Bible study with a group of your peers under the guidance of a committed leader. Through Sunday School, the Holy Spirit can do His work through the living Word of God. Music The music ministry of EBC is committed to using music to worship God, proclaim the good news, teach Christian truths and minister to the needs of all people. We accomplish this in many ways, most importantly through congregational singing. Our adult choir, each Sunday morning, leads in worship through music. Three times a year they prepare seasonal worship experiences for Advent/Christmas, Good Friday/Easter, and the Fourth of July. Throughout the year guest musicians - vocal, instrumental, keyboard, choral, orchestral - provide music leadership for worship services. Children EBC currently offers several ministries for our children. All of our workers are members of the church and have full background checks run. We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for your child to be able to come to church and learn about who God is and what He has done through His Son, Jesus Christ. Youth Our ministry focuses on equipping youth to be better followers of Christ. We have weekly Bible studies, monthly events, and big quarterly events. Missions We at Elizabethtown Baptist Church are firm believers in the great commission of Matthew 28:18-20 and seek to reach out to our community and the world around us with the love of God. Two years ago, we were able to take a team to New Orleans to help rebuild homes. This past summer we took a team to Bright Life Farms to help them in the construction of a new housing unit for their residents. We are also allied with Helping Hand Ministries and the WJCR in reaching out to the community around us. |
